Still alive!

Oh my goodness, it’s been FOREVER! I took the past year mostly off except second shooting at weddings with some friends of mine. This wedding was with the fabulous Denise Kramer at Leoness Winery in Temecula. I’m trying to be more active with posting so I will try to be better! I have some stuff coming up this summer, one of which is a boudoir workshop with the Bloom Forum in August. It will be limited availability (15 seats) available only to Bloom members and it’s going to be fun! You’ll see a shoot and have some shooting and editing assignments of your own with feedback. Registration opens in July but I will post about it when it does. I’m excited. Bloom offers a lot of cool workshops with other photographers if boudoir is not your thing. Check them out! Ok, onto the pics of the wedding!

Calamigos Ranch Wedding | Malibu

I had the privilege to go and second shoot for Kelly Mendoza of True Bliss Photo again this past weekend.  We had a blast shooting Tom and Laura’s wedding at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu.  It was fun working with you again, Kelly! Thanks for having me and congrats to Tom and Laura!

A Wedding | Palm Springs, CA

This past weekend I went and second shot for my awesome friend Kelly Mendoza of True Bliss Photography.  (Seriously, if you need a wedding photographer you should definitely hire her.  She does beautiful work. I don’t do weddings anymore because I can’t commit to the huge amount of editing and album design time right now but I love to go second shoot with Kelly.  She is so awesome and laid back and I still get to do weddings but none of the after work! Ha! So go hire her, and maybe I’ll see you there!) Anyways, here are some shots from me from last weekend’s wedding for an adorable couple who got married at Miramonte in Indian Wells.

Kelly does a lot of “first looks” at her weddings which is awesome because it just seems so special to have the two of them alone together AND then they have time to enjoy their cocktail hour because the images are already done pre-ceremony! Win win!

Congratulations to the happy couple and thanks again, Kelly, for having me!

Eli and Reut | Rancho Bernardo Inn Wedding

Congratulations Eli and Reut on your marriage! You looked fabulous and your wedding was super fun!

This wedding was bittersweet for me because not only my last wedding for 2010 but also my last wedding, at least until my kids are a little older and both in school full time. I will miss shooting them and thank you to all my awesome brides and grooms over the past couple years!

A huge thank you to Kelly Mendoza of True Bliss Photography for coming and shooting with me! If you are in need of a wedding photographer for 2011 I HIGHLY recommend her.  She does amazing work and is an amazing person.  (She has a sneak peek up for Eli and Reut as well so click the above link to see more!)  Enjoy your sneak peek, guys!!

Skyping with her brother in Israel who was unable to attend do to an injury. Isn’t technology amazing that you can still see your family from countries away on your wedding day?!

9.25.10 Jessica and Stephen | San Juan Capistrano Wedding Photographer

Where do I even begin? Stephen and Jessica, thank you so much for choosing me.  You guys are AWESOME.  You are some of the most considerate people I have ever met!  I had a great time photographing your wedding.  I know you guys will have a fabulous life together! Have a blast on your honeymoon and enjoy your sneak peek!

Stephen and Jessica’s gorgeous wedding was at The Forster Mansion in San Juan Capistrano. Flowers (arent they awesome?!) were done by Flower Company of San Clemente.  Hair and makeup done by Beauty and the Beach (Heather and Mariah.)

Also wanted to give a huge thank you to my friend Kelly Mendoza of True Bliss Photo who second shot with me.  Thank you, Kelly!
