boudoir album cover choices

What are your three favorite covers?  I’d love to have you come on over to my Facebook page and take a vote!  There are many many cover options and at your session, I bring the swatches so you can choose a custom cover. There are tons of different colors, fabrics, and textures.  Problem is, being custom means a longer wait. I do agree that it’s worth the wait to get what you want but sometimes anniversaries or wedding dates seem to fly by and soon they are here and we don’t have 4 weeks to wait.  SOOOOO I am going to have 3 of the below choices always in stock so that if someone wants a last minute session pre-wedding or pre-anniversary or some other special occasion, I can get those albums to you much faster and make sure we have your gifts in time.  I picked these choices based on my highest sellers (and added my personal favorite, whitesnake. My own boudoir album is in the whitesnake but I kind of like “funky” things. LOL) Geez, do I ramble or what?  Go vote before Wednesday! (<–and I’m bossy! Haha!) Thank you!

covers

Here are some recent albums that went out.  The stripe black is the “obsidian” above (and the other is Black Pearl, a floral fabric that will still be available via custom order.)

Ooh, and some fun album giving ideas! ;) Think chocolate martinis + fun outfit + “Here honey, here is your album!” = FUN.  This is probably more for us (girls) than them (they’d be happy with some nudity and a Bud Light) but we deserve fun too! Ooh, I forgot candles! And strawberries and whipped cream!

1. Coconut Circoc (THE best. EVER.) 2. Chocolate Coconut Martinis 3. Godiva Chocolate Liqueur 4 and 5. Elle McPherson “Boudoir” lace collection (It’s really called “Boudoir.” Perfect, right?) 6. Cosmic Suede Pump 7. Wolford Black Thigh Highs 8. Kama Sutra Body Chocolate 9. Desiree Hayes Boudoir album (That sounds so nerdy typing my own name but just go with it. Haha!)

What to Wear Ideas

Was online shopping today (for boots!) and thought I would put a few more ideas together for fun.

I have a thing for over the knee boots.  I know that probably isn’t the first thing you think of when you think boudoir but they sure are fun!  And yes, I realize there is no “top” with this outfit but not everyone likes to wear a top the whole time. If you prefer a top a black bra could easily be added (or an arm covering as a top.)  I put two styles of “underwear” on here too. Some people like less and some people like more (like me whose stomach looks like it was mauled by a tiger…..aka stretch marks! HAHA!)

1. Report Fairfax III Boots in Gray 2. Wolford Velvet Control Thong 3. Kate Spade Champagne Bubbles Ring in Black Diamond 4. Deborah Lippman Nail Polish in Makin Whoopee 5. Calvin Klein Lace Thong 6. Aldo Purter Bracelet in Midnight Black

Over The Knee Boots

Neutrals! Nude color thigh highs would be a fab addition too.

1. and 2. Top Shop Nude Curly Ruffle Bra + Panty 3. Guerlain Terracotta Lipgloss 4. Lipstick Queen in Pink Sinner 5. Aldo Platform Heel in Bone 6. Aldo Wulffraat Earrings in Peach

I had a client a few months back that brought a sheer kimono and it was SOOO cute in the pictures! I can’t find the exact one and the one below is SUPER pricey but I put it anyways for the idea. La Perla also has a similar sheer kimono in their new Noir Collection. That collection is gorgeous! Very vintage looking (which I am a huge fan of.) The La Perla Vintage Plisse collection is also fabulous.

1. Jessica Simpson Alek Pump in Black 2. Georgio Armani Rouge Lipstick 3. Ornate Heirloom Hair Pin 4. Carine Gilson Frou Frou Silk-Chiffon Kimono

Okay, last one! I promise.

1. Stella McCartney Silk Chiffon Chemise 2. Badgley Mischka Dylan Heel 3. Deborah Lippman Purple Rain Nail Color 4. Vintage Beauty Hair Clip
