Thank you for stopping by my blog! Come, sit, chill, have a margarita. Okay, a little about me. I am Desiree. I've been married since I was 18 to my awesome husband, Jon, and we have two kiddos. I love salsa (not dancing, the kind that goes with a chip.) I love having freshly painted toes. Love the color red. I like to be goofy. I love to zumba (even though I have the coordination of a baby giraffe.) I hate when my pants fit tight but I'm not motivated enough to give up the adult beverages. I usually have bad roots because I can't stand to sit still in a salon chair for three hours. Oh, and I have no Betty Crocker type skills.

I specialize in boudoir and love. I love to take pictures that have a little bit of spice, ones that make people feel beautiful. I consider my style to be modern romantic portraiture. I love when I can see a connection between people in an image. I adore a "vintage" look. Quit waiting to lose "the last 10 (or 20 if you are like me!) pounds," you are beautiful as you ARE! Shy? Nervous? Awesome, some of my FAVE sessions have been with the shy ones. You all have some inner rawr, you just dont know it yet!

Ballet and the Boxer

Weird mix, right? Haha!

This summer my daughter had her first ballet class.  My mom signed her up and took her most of the days because I had sessions already scheduled but I was able to make a couple and snagged a few pictures at the last one.  Daphne is the one with the ripped tights (she fell in the parking lot right when we got there.)  She had fun and thank you, mom! (Maybe this will redeem me from my last post?!)

Daph’s friend, B (and thanks T for bringing Daph to class with you guys when we couldnt make it!) This was circle time where they go to the middle and do whatever they want. B rocked it!

and then it’s my child’s turn and she goes to the middle and does a breakdance worm kind of thing. She is so my child.  Haha!

Then yesterday I was laying on the ground and tell the kids to look into my camera and make goofy faces but my boxer dog, Zoe, is totally obsessed with me and I can’t even walk one foot without her following me. Seriously. She drives me nuts. When I take a shower, she shoves her head in the back of the shower to stalk me there too.  Yes, dog, I love you too but geez! HAHA Anyways, before the kids even had a chance to do what I asked, stalker dog was in my face giving me the “but don’t you love ME?!?” face.  Girlfriend seriously needs to wax those chin hairs. :P

Ok, enough about us! Stay tuned for a new marathon date in Atlanta, GA!  I’m also working on a new project that will be revealed in about a month or so so stay tuned.

Desiree Does Dallas

Boudoir time for Dallas, TX! Weee!  I have a couple openings on December 3rd and December 4th.

*A* rocked it! Thank you girl, I had a blast!!

There is a slight bit of partial nudity ahead but it’s like “PG-13 Titanic style classy artsy partial nudity.”  Just wanted to warn those that may be offended although I doubt you are even on my blog if you are easily offended.  Unless you are a stalker. LOL

P.S. Mom, do not scroll down.  If you do, I shall expect my phone to be ringing soon with the “Oh SISSY!” <– That’s my in trouble name even at 30 years old.

Me and My Gang

No, not the Rascal Flatts song! LOL Us! The tremendously talented Krissy Allori was just visiting in the San Diego area and we were lucky enough to have her do our family pictures. I’ve had a few people ask about that duvet cover. It’s called “Waterfall” and it’s from Urban Outfitters.
