See you there!
Thank you for stopping by my blog! Come, sit, chill, have a glass of wine (or coffee if you are at work!) Okay, a little about me. I am Desiree. I love to take pictures (duh), I love my family, I love chocolate. I love wine. Love the color red. I like to be goofy. I love corsets. I hate when my pants fit tight but I also hate exercise (boring!) Hmm, what else? I love happy hour...and mexican food. Yum. I can actually make a decent tortilla. That's about it though, I have no Betty Crocker type skills. :P
Now about the photographs! I specialize in love and passion. I love when I can see a connection between people in an image. I also love to take pictures that have a little bit of spice, ones that make people feel beautiful. I consider my style to be modern romantic boudoir portraiture. For wedding photography, I favor a more photojournalistic approach and I adore a "vintage" look. Quit waiting to lose "that last 10 pounds," you are beautiful as you ARE! All sessions are by appointment only. My studio is located in downtown San Diego. Give me a call (951.440.9939) or shoot me an email.

Another gorgeous girlie! Smooches, K! This last group of girls was a bridal party, hence the hotel room and not the studio. It was so much fun!
I recommend this for all brides and bridal parties! Not only is it a FUN day, but you get a cool gift to give your significant other (or for yourself!) and its documented forever!
I do group boudoir parties (up to 4 women at a time) at my San Diego studio location as well. For more information, drop me an email! :)
Sneak peek for *S*! I had so much fun with you this weekend, girl! You are gorgeous! Cant wait for you to see the whole gallery! YAY!
(For the photogs who ask about post processing to get vintage colors, I used Ashleys Actions vintage haze 4 tweaked + warming and sometimes her lemon layer.)
Kim and Dave were married last weekend at the Tulalip Resort in Marysville, Washington. What a super fun wedding and a super fun couple. We started the previous evening off with a boudoir shoot with Kim and her bridesmaids in one of the suites and it was oh so fun. I recommend that to ALL brides to be! Great way to relax and have a fun evening with the girls before the big day! The next morning all the girls moved to the Bridal Suite to start getting ready for the wedding:
I love these shoes!
We all know I love details, I couldnt decide on ring shots! LOL
and one more
and I have to add that I LOVE this next one! First time they saw each other before the wedding. How adorable are they?
I’m home, I’m home!
Dave and Kim, I had a lovely time photographing your wedding! You guys rock and are such a fun couple. Your whole bridal party was fabulous, friendly, and easy going and wow…it was just a TON of fun! I’m working on your sneaky peeky right now so hopefully it will be up SOON! (By tomorrow eve, hopefully tonight if my kids cooperate with bedtime. HAHA!)
Oh yes, this was supposed to be about albums, I blabber.
HAHA
For boudoir albums I currently offer a pretty wide range of fabrics, leathers, and colors (custom) but a few people have been asking for a more traditional basic black matted album and I found one that I love! Another thing is that these are instock so the turn around time is MEGA SUPER FAST! (Yes, mega super fast is a word! HAHAHAHA!) Pics to follow! Oh and the minis are adorable. They fit wallet sized images and they come in 10 and 20 page the same as the packages so you could add on a “mini” album, perfect for your hubby’s pocket so he can show all his friends! JUST KIDDING! ;)
and the itty bitty totally cute baby album!
and here are more of the “regular” kind of that I offer in case anyone was wondering!
